Chichi.ca project: Day 38
Can you guess what I was planning to do with these shapes?
I made reversible soap called Japanada soap (Japan + Canada)!
And when you flip the soap to the other side…
I am supposed to make “where you are from” themed soap for this month’s soap challenge, but I couldn’t choose which I should say I’m from. I grew up in Japan, but I spent majority of my adult life in Canada. I am proud as Japanese, but I feel more comfortable in Canada… It’s too hard to decide 😦
So I did both 🙂
I am happy with the results!
What a fantastic idea and a really lovely soap. I love the definition on the maple leaf.

Thank you! It was pointed out that the shape of the maple leaf was not the Canadian maple… 😛

What a fantastic idea to make your soap design reversible! I like the simplicity of it and your embeds are super clear. Both of your inspirations are definitely worthy! ; )

It’s wonderful!! How appropriate that both are red and white! I love this – not even sure how you managed to make it, but it’s perfect.
